There’s a snowman in the Sculpture Garden! The sculpture is part of the latest Artist's Choice, which invites contemporary artists to organize an exhibition drawn from MoMA’s collection. Artist Peter Fischli is the 13th artist to participate, and the first to focus on the Sculpture Garden. For his presentation, Fischli borrows a question inscribed on a Ben Vaultier painting that’s also presented outdoors: “If everything is sculpture why make sculpture?” Along with Snowman, 23 objects selected by Fischli offer answers to this question. Make a date and come see it for yourself.
